GOD is working!


Since February of 2000, God has brought many teams of women together to accomplish the work.   Some women have served only briefly while others have been serving for years.  Following is a summary of how God has moved in our hearts, guided the ministry and has worked and is working through this ministry to cultivate a spiritually healthy community.  Click here to read more about how Truth for Women started.

2000

• February - Month of Prayer met weekly at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in  Easton
• Organized first leadership team
• Adopted doctrinal statement
• Adopted a network agreement and application of service
• Secured domain names and designed website
• May - Informational Coffee and Tea times to promote networking, build relationships with women’s ministry leaders, and to promote the fall conference
• October - Leadership One Day Training Retreat using Nehemiah and Ephesians (Part one)
• November - Friday evening and Saturday conference featuring Tommye Hammel of Precept Ministries. Theme:  God’s Standard for Women (Biblical Womanhood). Held at Lehigh University’s Asa Packer Auditorium. Lunch and snacks were provided. In addition, 15 additional seminars by local and regional speakers were offered on Saturday afternoon. Over 200 women attended.
